Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner

Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner is an 8 oz (237 ml) alcohol-free toner, and the absence of alcohol is the whole point. Traditional toners rely on alcohol to degrease the skin, which strips the barrier and leaves skin tight, red and, on oily types, producing more oil in response. This uses aloe vera instead, so it removes the last traces of cleanser and residue while soothing and hydrating — meaning it prepares the skin for what follows rather than undoing it. Aloe is particularly good for calming redness, irritation and sensitivity, so it suits skin that has reacted badly to conventional toners, as well as skin that is dry, sun-exposed or generally reactive. Used consistently, skin feels balanced, comfortable and softer, and serums and moisturisers absorb better on slightly damp skin. Suitable for all skin types, including dry and sensitive. Apply to a cotton pad and sweep over clean skin, or press in with the palms, then follow with serum and moisturiser.
