Mario Badescu Almond & Honey Non-Abrasive Face Scrub is a 4 oz (118 ml) exfoliant, and the words non-abrasive are the point. Most scrubs use particles coarse enough to scratch the skin, which is why exfoliating so often leaves the face red and stinging and, over time, makes sensitivity and pigmentation worse. This uses finely ground almond meal in a honey base, so it polishes away dead surface cells without tearing at the skin, making regular exfoliation possible for people who have found scrubs intolerable. Honey brings genuine benefit too, being naturally humectant and soothing, so skin is left soft and comfortable rather than tight. The result is smoother, brighter skin with better product absorption and less congestion. Suited to dry, sensitive and normal skin, and gentle enough for more frequent use than a typical scrub. Apply to damp skin and massage gently in circular motions, avoiding the eye area, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with moisturiser and daily sunscreen.
