Micellar water works through micelles — tiny cleansing molecules suspended in water that attract and lift away makeup, oil, sunscreen and grime on contact, without needing surfactants, lather or rinsing. That gentleness is the point: it removes even stubborn eye makeup without the tugging, rubbing and stripping that traditional removers and harsh cleansers involve, which matters on sensitive, reactive or dry skin. Hydrating ingredients are included so skin feels comfortable and soft afterwards rather than tight, and it leaves no greasy or sticky residue.
