La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum is a 30 ml anti-wrinkle replumping treatment that pairs two forms of hyaluronic acid with vitamin B5. The two molecular weights matter: one holds water at the surface for immediate plumping and smoothing, the other penetrates deeper for more sustained hydration — which is why the effect is both visible straight away and cumulative, rather than a superficial gloss. Vitamin B5, panthenol, is the second half of the formula, repairing the skin barrier and calming irritation, so the serum strengthens skin as well as hydrating it. That combination makes it particularly effective on skin that is both dehydrated and sensitised, and an excellent partner to retinol, where it offsets the dryness and irritation that cause people to give up.
