La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream is a 200 ml cleanser for blemish-prone skin that has become dry, tight and irritated from acne treatment — a very specific and very common problem. Retinoids, benzoyl peroxide and acids work, but they compromise the skin barrier, and continuing with a standard foaming acne wash on top of that makes the skin so uncomfortable that people abandon their treatment altogether. This is formulated for exactly that situation: a cream texture that cleanses gently without stripping, while replenishing lipids and supporting the skin's microbiome, so the barrier can recover while treatment continues. Skin feels calm, comfortable and soothed after washing rather than tight and stinging. It remains non-comedogenic, so it will not undo the treatment's work. Formulated with La Roche-Posay thermal spring water for sensitive skin. Apply to damp skin, massage gently, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with a soothing moisturiser.
