Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1 in the 200 ml bottle is the gentlest exfoliating toner in the range, formulated for very dry to dry skin. As step two of Clinique's famous 3-Step routine, it sweeps away the dull, flaky dead surface cells that accumulate on dry skin, block moisturiser from absorbing and leave the complexion looking rough, tired and uneven — revealing smoother, brighter skin beneath. Calibration is the whole point: very dry skin has a fragile barrier and cannot tolerate the stronger lotions, so Lotion 1 delivers the same texture-refining and absorption-boosting benefits at a strength that will not leave skin tight, stinging or flaking further.
