CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser for Normal to Dry Skin (French formulation) is the European version of the brand's gentlest face wash. This 8 oz (236 ml) bottle has a creamy, non-foaming texture that dissolves dirt, excess oil, sunscreen and light makeup while leaving the skin's moisture barrier fully intact — so skin feels soft and comfortable afterwards rather than tight, stripped or squeaking. Three essential ceramides help restore and maintain that barrier while hyaluronic acid draws in and retains moisture, which is why skin genuinely feels more hydrated after cleansing than before. It is an excellent choice for dry, dehydrated, sensitive and eczema-prone skin, and for anyone whose skin has been left reactive by retinoids, exfoliating acids, cold weather or over-washing. Fragrance-free, soap-free and non-comedogenic, and gentle enough for the face, neck and body twice daily. Developed with dermatologists. Apply to damp skin, massage gently in circular motions, then rinse with lukewarm water or wipe away with a soft cloth, and follow with a moisturiser.
