Cantu Moisturizing Twist & Lock Gel is a purpose-built styler for twists, two-strand twists, locs and coil styles. This 13 oz (370 g) formula delivers the firm, long-lasting hold these styles need to stay neat and defined for days, while shea butter and conditioning agents keep the hair moisturised inside the twist — so hair is not left dry and brittle when the style comes down. It smooths and seals each section as you work, giving twists a clean, glossy, uniform finish with excellent frizz control that holds up in humidity. Critically, it does not flake, crumble or leave white residue on the scalp or along the strands, which is exactly where cheaper gels fail on darker hair. It is equally effective for retwisting locs, palm-rolling, defining coils and smoothing edges. Suitable for natural, transitioning and colour-treated hair, and formulated without sulphates, parabens, silicones, mineral oil or dyes. Apply to damp, sectioned hair, smooth from root to tip, then twist or coil and allow to dry fully before separating or styling. A protective-styling staple.
